Why Bramley

Bramley House is proudly owned by Fiona Collins and was established in 1984 not just to care for residents, but to care about them. This nurturing ethos and our family-home atmosphere are just two qualities that make Bramley House such a special place. Our location, the picturesque village of Westcott in the heart of the Surrey Hills, is special too.

We tailor our services to all levels of residential and care needs – from respite breaks and companionship visits, to dementia care and more complex requirements. Family members and friends are welcome to call in at any time and pets can also visit or come and stay.

At Bramley House, we really care.

Bramley at a Glance

We do everything we can to maintain your happiness, independence and your health.

Our House

We have 16 bedrooms, many of which have ensuite facilities. Communal spaces include our elegant dining room, comfortable lounge and relaxing conservatory overlooking our beautiful gardens. Residents and their guests are welcome to spend time indoors or enjoy tea and cake or a walk in the garden.

Our Team

Each member of the Bramley ‘family’ is passionate about care and has strong knowledge of industry led requirements and recommendations through our programme of continuous training and qualifications. All staff members share a commitment to the highest standards of care and enjoy spending time with our residents, learning about their lives.

Nutrition

Our wonderful kitchen team create varied weekly menus of delicious home-cooked meals using fresh tasty produce (including herbs from our garden!). Residents enjoy a variety of wholesome nutritious meals, as well as cakes and treats made by our talented team. Special favourites and dietary requirements are happily catered for too.

Health & Wellbeing

We accompany residents to the doctors, dentist, optician, chiropodist or hospital if needed and also make appointments for residents to be seen at Bramley House. Our local vicar often visits and residents attend church services if they wish. Visiting beauty specialists and chiropodists provide the feel-good factor by taking care of hair and nails!

Visitors

Family members, friends and visitors are always welcome at Bramley House and can call in at any time. If you want to join your loved one for lunch or dinner, or just pop in for a cup of tea and a slice of home-made cake it’s no trouble at all, we look forward to seeing you.

Entertainment

There’s a lot to enjoy at Bramley – hobbies are encouraged and opportunities to learn new ones are readily available. Our varied programme of activities and entertainment includes singalongs, arts and crafts, board games, music, cards, poetry readings and a book club. We get also out and about in the village, the town and further afield too.
