A little bit about Bramley House
Bramley House was established in 1984 and it’s true values of care, love and nurture are still as important today as they were the day we opened. We are based in the Heart of the Surrey Hills in the award winning, beautiful village of Westcott – a short stroll for our lovely residents to wander into the village for a cup of coffee and cake at one of the lovely eateries, or for an amble around the Village Green.
At Bramley House we pride ourselves in being able to tailor to all levels of residential and care needs from respite breaks and companionship reasons, through to dementia and more complex requirements. And of course, don’t forget your lifelong companions of the four legged nature are more than welcome as well!
Our Team
Fiona
I have been at Bramley House for nearly 40 years and am proud to have worked with the elderly since I was a teenager. I recognize the importance of a happy team and happy house. I studied psychology at Surrey University and have NVQ’s in health and social care leadership and management plus all the mandatory training that is required. I strive to ensure that Bramley House has a happy ‘home from home’ atmosphere and feel that my ethos is reflected in the care that we give to our residents.
My motto is ‘This is your home, not ours’.
Kelly
I have been at Bramley House for 19 years and have worked in almost every role! I have been the registered manager since 2017. I have a Level 5 diploma in Leadership Management for health and social care in adults and children plus NCFE level2 in dementia awareness. I really enjoy the responsibility of making sure all areas of the house are working well together. Seeing our residents happy and comfortable means the world to me.
Tracy
I am the senior carer and have a level 3 Diploma in health and social care. I have worked here for over 14 years and get enormous satisfaction from working with the elderly and supporting my dedicated team of carers
Lesley
I look after the accounts and I am also the activities manager. I love spending time with our residents and seeing them join in with the activities and entertainment. We have a lot of fun here and visitors often remark on the friendly warm atmosphere. I like taking residents out for trips. We celebrate Dementia Action Week with lots of different activities, including coffee mornings, musical singalongs and arts and crafts.

How much does it cost to live at Bramley House?
The price to live here varies for each individual: care needs, room location and personal centred care planning by the manager all contribute to the weekly figure. We accept social service funding with top ups and also deferred payment schemes from the local council.
Can I bring my own furniture into Bramley House?
Of course, a favourite chair of chest of drawers is welcome, but no electrical items (unless PAT tested by our electrician). All pictures and personal items are encouraged.
Is my pet welcome?
Yes, of course! We are a pet friendly home and belong to the Cinammon trust.
Do you do respite or short breaks?
Yes, we can do respite for 1 week (or more) at a time. We also offer day care.
